Me: back..lol...i'm not sayin its right to ack that way but i just think the only reason we are offended becuase its the truth...yea i get that they did the show with good intentions to show that black people do have money and nice things but after that, it quickly turn it to, whos flashier, whos richer, kim pretty much laying on her back to get whatever she wants, after that became old news then the fighting and the drama came into play...this happening right next door and some people are probably even guilty of it...stop giving people the materail to produce this crap and maybe a tv camera would actaully find in interesting to follow a black woman around, working hard and taking care of her bills and take it the next step further by actually having her husband there supporting her instead of running off with another woman! if we really wana help tv, we need to restore our own family vaules if we want good tv lol....thats all i'm saying amcnair00 : true ur right people are offended b/c its the truth that's how it always is, but their r some of us who honestly don't find that show appealing lol I'm one of those I could take it or leave it but I gotta have my CSI lol And you right more of these networks need to follow the reall woman and wives of ATL to see what we do, but the thing that gets me is ppl that don't live here actually thing everyone here is like that and I get tired of explaining half of that mess I have never seen
Me: that show is appaling but so is bet, half of them naked, so is the game, their message ain't any better, survivor, half naked in a jungle, i can point out 1 thing wrong in er tv show out there but yet i recorded and keep up with the latest episode, ain't no show really better than the other one really. amcnair00 : naw it's not that's y I'm not rushing getting cable Me: people thought that way about atlanta before the show. you didn't need that show to get a picture about how atalnta was, its in books, fiction or non, freak neak already dub atl as the freak capital, girls running wild before the white guy did the serious, atlanta already had its issues and will still have its issues after the show will stop taping. atlanta is considered the black mecca of the world and you can barly find a hand full of black people tryna make atlanta positive! men and women! whether its keeping your family together, stop having kids out of wedlock, drugs, etc. you can't blame it on the mayor and the westside and the blah blah blah! its on the streets when you walk by, butt crack showing, women acking ghetto in the grocery store, housewives ain't had nothing to do with it black people, as always, saw housewives as a punching bag and needed somebody to blame and since they put it out there, 1 positive person that is actually making a difference, made a comment and the rest of the blacks jumped on board and started stoning them too...typical blacks lol amcnair00 : true u have a point its no one person,show or aread to blame but the race as a whole but those are issues not just exclusive to Atlanta just here they are exploited for the world to see and they take those stereotypes and latch them on to the city's image Me: i lived here for the past 9 years...i seen it with my own eyes..if i didn't lived here...maybe i would have a different stoy but as far as the country is concerened, atlanta is like an influential market to the black population becuase the city is black, we was given the opprotunity to have a positive black city but most of the negative things about black people, are right here amcnair00 : sooo true Me: highest aids rate among blacks, atl on the list, dummest blacks, we on the list...its crazy but we just wana sit back and blame outlets for it.

i just that i have learned that i can't blame other people....from being a black woman with a black daughter, i can do my part by raising a positive black woman...yea..when she old enuff to talk and repeat things, of course the tv gona be block on all things not g rated. if i have the opportunity to sway someone institutionallized way of think, i'll try...but i do give up easily because my patience is short amcnair00 : amen yeah that's one of the things we have to take responsibiltiy for our own actions my play momma used to make me mad then I had to step back and realize things that happen to us are really cause and effect what to we do to make certain things happen to us... have fun w/ nene i would go to the event but when she got up to speak i prob would walk out 
she just did this on tv and i can't believe she said this but we portray nene and shree and kim and all the other fools on tv everyday!!! when someone holds a mirror up to ourselves then we try to make up up, oh i don't ack like this and o i don't do that.....we do...lol!!! that why a white man came up to you and offered a job becuase he saw it before the camera and that how the entire world already view you so hay!!! just goes back to black people changing as a race cuz its not flavor flave and the housewives and real and chance messin it up for us, we are! weather we watch or not, its still in the music videos, on the streets, in the club so hey..lol...not tryna justify y i watch but its just the truth lol
